http://www.flutescotland.webeden.co.uk/
The Scottish International Flute Summer School offers a chance to study with some of the world's leading flute players in a relaxed and supportive environment. This course will allow you the time and space to try out new ideas, to be challenged and take risks, to gain performance experience, and to meet flute players from around the world, to share ideas and learn from each other.
Whether you are a music student at a conservatoire or university and want to broaden your studies, or maybe you are at school and considering study on a performance course and want to find out more; maybe you are a flute teacher or a young professional player who wants some fresh ideas, or maybe you play purely for your own pleasure, whatever your needs, we can provide a week of fluting that will keep you going all year.
The course is made up of master classes, private lessons, coaching sessions with our fantastic pianists, technique workshops and student concerts. There will also be recitals by Wissam Boustany, Ian Clarke and Ruth Morley. It is a busy week, but we do try to make sure that you have some time to practice and try out the new ideas you come across during the classes.
